I have a theory about opinion polls.

I do not put much weight on them in general but I was thinking that I am a minority and many people do pay attention to them. This could benefit the Dems since humans are a pack-animal and succumbs to peers. If many people see that favoring impeachment is "the thing to do" they may join the ranks themselves, subconsciously.

more than the raw, hard numbers. How the numbers change over time can be very indicative of public opinion shifting one way or the other.
