Romney's biggest problem going into the debates is Obama.

Not the one Rush and the echo chamber made up -

The REAL Obama.

The Obama that's going to very quietly, professionally, presidentially, eviscerate Romney.

Those motherfuckers don't have a clue.

Mebbe they should watch the debates from 2008.

Mebbe they should review the White House Press Corps dinner......

Their guy, the one who cannot answer any questions at all, is going to have a real bad day.

Romney will be very stiff and tense, I'm convinced of it. He won't be as relaxed as Obama and that will show to the audience at home. It's one thing that hurt Gore in the 2000 debates - the fact he just didn't feel comfortable in his own skin. Bush did and it helped him overcome nuanced debate answers to win, according to polling, most the debates.

Obama, like Clinton, is very comfortable in front of the camera. Romney isn't. Romney is a very awkward debater, who often looks uncomfortable sitting, or standing, especially when he's pushed on something. Obama can deliver an attack with ease, sit back and smile and not get upset...but I think Romney will. I think Romney will awkwardly laugh at something, or come off as combative, and it won't play well.

One has to believe that Romney will be wearing one too. As much as I would love to see the device hacked, I doubt it would be feasible. OTOH It seems to me that such a device could be disrupted in some fashion. I hope somebody somewhere, (on President Obama's campaign staff) has had similar notions.

Unless it were something like a simple smart phone with a wireless earpiece. (Do they even make wireless earpieces?) One would think shutting down or jamming someone's smart-phone difficult at best and possibly illegal. That said, the government for 'security purposes' could I suspect place some kind of jamming device around the building thereby creating a dead zone for all but landline phones.

He looks ok in still photos, but I had the same reaction watching him in the primary debates.

Something about him seems off when you see him move and talk.

Obama to me has a natural progression of expressions, even when they're a little goofy looking.

I think it might be that Romney's been hitting the Botox, because he looks like a plastic person, especially around the eyes.

With Obama, the wheels are turning and he's reacting to what he's saying, even when he's laughing at his own jokes like a dork. With Mitt there's just not a lot of facial movement.

Both have ridiculous CHARISMA & can make just a little minor motion look major.
Both have that SWAG that just commands the room.

If Obama could do the People's Eyebrow, the match would be complete.
I just wish Obama would use these skills more heavily in his governance.
He has the power to eliminate the Republican Party & Conservative Movement it houses FOREVER.

He truly is the Transformative Candidate.

-Which is why I recommended your post -the MSM are notoriously intellectually dishonest when it comes to the Democratic presidential nominee. Remember their treatment of Al Gore during the 2000 presidential debates? When he tried to pull Bush up on the facts, they labelled him as elitist and superior and condescending. Yet when Dubya made multiple gaffes during the debates, they indulged him

So I have no doubt that the President will be at his most excellent and will demolish Romney. But the talking heads and the beltway pundits and the other pandering GOP shills in the MSM are going to be doing their best to undermine him (although thank goodness we have people like Rachel Maddow out there). We have to do our best to counteract their crap and not allow them to define the agenda like they did in 2000
