On this Labor Day (2012), I present to you Truman's Second Bill of Rights (1944):

The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the Nation;

The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;

The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;

The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;

The right of every family to a decent home;

The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;

The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;

The right to a good education.

There is no profit in it for them.

Reagan began the devolving of the US and we have been regressing rapidly ever since.

In 1968, before Bobby was murdered, I took it for granted that these rights would be amendments to the Constitution by the year 2000. That was the turning point.

And the day Reagan was elected marked the beginning of the end of the compassionate democratic evolution of the US.

Now, none of these rights will ever become reality unless they are brought about by revolution, preferably a non-violent one.

Making these rights a reality are what Occupy is all about.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."
President John F. Kennedy

"A revolution is coming — a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough — But a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability."
Bobby Kennedy

And they might make us wait longer at the school or clinic! And They might do things we don't approve of!

And Most Importantly, if everyone has these things, who would we look down upon and know that God hates? They need to be Punished!
