More craziness from POTUS. He handed out that letter to Erdogan to show how tough he'd been.

Per the same source, Trump handed out copies of the letter he'd sent to Erdogan at today's meeting in what was interpreted as an attempt to show everyone how tough he'd been.

Jill Colvin

White House reporter for The Associated Press (@AP). Reluctant Washingtonian.

Added from the comments below:

Per dem source. Trump at one point said to Pelosi and Schumer, "someone wanted this meeting so I agreed to it."

The meeting was called by the White House.

He thinks he is a "stable genius" and that he has "the best words."

It is chilling that such a complete idiot is The President of The United States.

The Dunning-Kruger effect refers to the seemingly pervasive tendency of poor performers to overestimate their abilities relative to other people–and, to a lesser extent, for high performers to underestimate their abilities.

Trump is in the majority here.

The Donald is not a high performer and definitely does not underestimate his abilities.

He is so dumb that he can't even see he is dumb. Not only that, the trumpers are just as clueless.
