As for the evangelical movement, it is for the most part confined to religion as the UK is much more secular than the USA.

(17,911 posts)Ask any educator in the UK, Germany, etc. if they have to buy instructional materials for their classes out of their own pocket and they look at you like you're insane.
And wider segments of their populace recognize the importance and value of education. Here, on the other hand, we have a wide segment that feels that they don't need none of that thar book larnin'. All they need is Jebus and Trump.
