Nothing to Hide

Trump refuses to allow the release of thousands of documents, and has instructed his administration officials not to respond to subpoenas compelling their testimony under oath.

We can only assume that these people have nothing to hide – a LOT of nothing. Filing cabinets full of nothing. Computer servers full of nothing. Hundreds of banker’s boxes full of nothing. Enough nothing to fill Lake Superior and the Grand Canyon.

In fact, there is so much nothing to hide, it can’t be hidden fast enough.

As the song reminds us, “We ain’t seen nothing yet” – but eventually, we will see ALL of that nothing. And when we do, there won’t be a lawyer within a hundred miles of D.C. who won’t be on retainer by Republican flunkies hoping to get out from under the avalanche of nothing that’s about to come crashing down in a landslide of monumental proportions.

So good luck to all of the spineless enablers who were too arrogant to believe they’d be caught, and too stupid to understand that the truth being exposed was never a vague possibility, but was always inevitable
