A US damm stops river flow at the Mexican border

The Colorado River serves over 35 million Americans before reaching Mexico – but it is dammed at the border, leaving locals on the other side with a dry delta.

but I have known for many years that the Colorado does not flow through to its natural finish in Mexico.

As Climate worsens, it will not get better, either, as Americans continue to build more in desert climes and divert Colorado River water to support unsustainable cities in the desert.
