and market it as a social network without political ads. Every liberal I know would switch over from Facebook.

It frustrates me to no end that so many organizations mindlessly use it as their primary means of communication and connection.

The problem now is that most people's friends and family are on FB, so they don't want to change. But if something that is clearly politically correct comes along, I think it could be a game changer, since people would change out of principle.

I only joined a year ago, and my participation is pretty limited. I know quite a few who don't use it.

Too much private information on a significant part of the population.

Too much political power through its psychographic/targeted advertising.

Too many ventures spreading the tech industry.

Too many board members, investors, etc with ties to government and corporate interests. (And even biotechnology research)

I went down the rabit hole of its board and investors. Its mind boggling the reach of this company...
