OK I think CM was genius. He wasn't attacking but just shooting from the hip with his knowledge and heart. Amen brotha.
But does anyone find it very annoying when they are in front of a live crowd and you can't hear the hosts/announcers? I had to rewind three times to hear Andrea Mitchell.

(4,458 posts)And it's nice to see some "Light Hearts" smiling and enjoying......well, everything... It's very different than the GOP convention mood.

(4,458 posts)time it was on *mute*-Definitely had it down/recorded during the speeches-just wanted to hear what the "talking heads" had to say...sped right through the rest...I couldn't do it either...not in full anyway. Without sound on? The Body language/facial expressions were interesting.
I decided they were not going to say anything we haven't already heard and from what I can tell-that was a correct call
All snark and sarcasm aside: They're depressing to talk to, listen to and to be around...

(4,742 posts)I decided this year I already knew the right wing meme...and between work and kids decided my time last week was well spent NOT watching the RNC or cable news coverage.

(4,458 posts)than I am-I've got to admit-I've never watched the RNC's-This is the first time I've gotten even this close...I was actually more curious about how many people were there-mostly hoping for some popcorn time and was well rewarded w/Clint.
I had to rewind it after I read about here. All I could think is WTF? Did the Pres call him up and Thank him???

(34,845 posts)In that respect, it's good to rub the Republicans' noses in how excited the Democrats are.

(18,048 posts)They ramp up the energy. All the movements and waving I could do without, but it adds some life to what's going on.
I'm just starting today's Hardball and I'm loving it so far.

(22,871 posts)and ready to go. Hopefully that is a good omen. I will admit to this though,I can't understand Jesse Jackson when he speaks, it's like he's speaking a foreign language.

(34,845 posts)I don't know what to call it. His cheeks are flabby. Not his jowls, though, right? What do flabby cheeks indicate? Anything other than age? I just don't think I've seen that before.

The Democrats' enthusiasm deficit is so stark I can barely hear Tweety over the crowd at the #DNC! #FORWARD

titaniumsalute
(4,742 posts)I make a comment about not being able to hear the hosts of a news program and you find me in PAIN? I worked in broadcasting for over 10 years (talk radio) and one thing I learned early on...make sure the mics are at a level the listening (in this case viewing) audience can hear.
