Videos show teen being shot while chased by police
(CNN) Newly released video of a fatal police shooting in April 2017 shows an officer firing a deadly shot at an unarmed 16-year-old who had jumped over a fence and was running away.
Police in Fresno, California, say that three different official departments have ruled the shooting justified.
The surveillance camera footage, provided by attorney Stuart Chandler, shows 16-year-old Isiah Murrietta Golding climb a fence and enter a small yard as he is being chased by two officers.
Murrietta Golding, wearing a gray sweater, lands on his feet and starts to run. One officer climbs the fence while the other gets into a crouching stance and fires through the fence

(2,533 posts)I saw the video this AM for like a second-young kid obviously scared-and you shoot him in the back.
What kind of human does that other than a steroid pumped kill bot ala your local LEO.

They caught the other kid, who admitted guilt.

(7,289 posts)Soldiers shoot fleeing combatants don't they? I wonder how many of these "police" are military vets.

Also ...This video was made in April 2017. Today, the lawyer for the victim's family finally got the video and released it to the press....... 2 years, 5 months after the shooting.........This is now national news..................The police department knew about this, and held on to it that long.''
In addition, other links say the police chief retired this month. Jerry P Dyer is no longer the police chief, and he held up the release of this, until after he officially retired. Also, I have watched the video a number of times, and it is clear that the teenager was running away. Take a look if you can. Pretty sad in my opinion. He was no threat to the police. Not while he was running away.
