Impt reminder: walls are NOT permanent! Must be constantly rebuilt!

So building a wall is NOT a once and done expense. There must be a permanent budget for maintenance and rebuillding.

Fred Clark in his blog slacktivist at patheos on October 21 points this out by reminding us of Robert Frost's poem 'Mending Wall'

The poem starts 'There is something that doesn't like a wall'

Reading it again I was struck by the neighbor's stolid, blind, unthinking defermination to rebuild the wall once again. Reminded me of someone!

1. I constantly see videos of prototype drone taxis

Boeing, Airbus, rolls Royce, many other firms have flown prototypes of drone taxis. Typically the load is 500 pounds. A cheap drone taxi ride defeats a wall.

2. the wall must be manned by thousands of troops

and it will be attacked with hacksaws, welding torches, bombs not to mention rust earthquake and hurricane.

drugs and guns can be thrown through the slats.

I am certain that if anyone on their side gave this any thought whatsoever it was the contractors who expect to profit for centuries to come.
