I'd like to say "Thank you!" To the mebers of our SpecialForces on the al-Baghdadi raid.

He was an evil bastard, and whatever any of you did to hasten his demise is genuinely appreciated.

It's your commander in chief I dislike. None of you strike me as having bone spur issues.

I'm also glad you all had no casualties.

were involved, we don't know if any Special Forces were involved.

I heard "Special Forces" in one of the early news reports, but I do realize that is generally understood to mean "The Green Berets."

The Navy has the Seals and Recon Marines. The Air Force has Special Forces that extract trapped troops and sometime join the other branches Special Forces units for assignments.

started calling the "green berets" because of their hat. As all special operations units now get called special forces by the media, then I don't know what we are going to have to call the actual Special Forces (green berets), I just pointed it out mostly for fun and because it is becoming a strange issue.
By the way Marine Recon are Marines, as is MARSOC which is their fairly new more elite special ops unit.
