The Dems are on message and on point!

I love that every House Democrat I've seen interviewed since Pelosi announced Thursday's vote on impeachment proceedings has been completely on message and all are, in one voice and with razor-sharp clarity, explaining exactly what they're doing and pushing back on any mischaracterization of what the resolution is about.

Bravo, Democrats!!!

I.e., it's NOT "a vote to authorize an impeachment inquiry", it IS "a vote to set the rules for proceeding with the public phase of the hearings, witnesses, etc).

Thankfully, Starfishsaver had already posted about the vote, earlier today, otherwise I might have thought the House was trying to pacify Traitor Tot.

I applaud her and her leadership for pulling this all together - while continuing to depose witnesses and carry out investigations.

Rs are flailing and in disarray. This move was just genius.

12. Over the years there have been times when I've felt Dems messaging has been lacking.

But I feel like they're doing a good job with the impeachment process.

I remember when Karl Rove was working with Bush, every administration member on every TV show had the same talking points every time, every day. Rove ran their messaging like a machine. And it was effective. I've often felt like we need the Democratic version of Rove's communication machine. You know, one that isn't evil.
