Hank Williams Jr. repeated his anti-Obama tirade at a concert in Texas on Sunday. Performing at the Stockyards Music Festival, the country singer went on an extended rant against the president.

"We’ve got a Muslim for a President who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays, and we hate him," Williams Jr. bellowed. As the Dallas Sun reported, the crowd responded with a loud cheer.

This is the second time in recent weeks the singer has used heated language when describing his distaste for the president. A late August concert featured Williams Jr. doing the same bit, though the dig at homosexuals appears to be a new addition to his schtick.

There's a guy you can't say didn't have some songwriting talent, but was it enough to have gotten him a shot without his daddy's name? Lots of good musicians had to give it up and get real jobs because they didn't make it. At least they could get real jobs, Jr probably couldn't.

I am not defending this guy, but I always thought he suffered with serious daddy-envy issues. And, I imagine that losing half of the estate and future royalties from his dad's music to his half sister probably didn't help. Add that to the head injury from falling off a mountain, and one might see that he's dealing with some challenges. I think he's doing and saying this stuff just to keep in the public eye and ear.

He is a mess and needs some serious therapy, IMHO.
