(3,450 posts)All through the duration of this administration, the rePIGs have actively, openly, loudly protested and blocked all the efforts of the administration to effectively tackle the job issue. And they have been proud of their achievements. Now they (the rePIGs) bear no responsibility for the dismal unemployment rate and cast the whole blame on the administration. And we have the MSM allowing them to get away with this absolute nonsense.

(24,355 posts)It's infuriating that the Republican's refusal to vote on the American Jobs Act, as well as their constant distractions over spending cuts, debt ceiling, repealing ACA, not to mention their frequent "recesses" and reduced work hours is not being eyed more critically. I'm kind of surprised that the Republican gathering in 2009 to plot their obstructionism isn't at least a minor scandal, particularly for Ryan (though I'm guessing that most people aren't fully aware of it yet). Hopefully, Biden brings this up somehow in his debate with Ryan.
