There couldn't be enough cameras and microphones capturing the action two weeks ago while Republican elected officials were compromising the security of the SCIF area, yammering about being shut out of secure hearings, even though a dozen of them were members of the committees that were meeting.

Today? A 180 degree reversal of their previous position, and utter silence from the media. None of the folks who made that grandstand play are being asked about it. Nobody who discounted the empty stunt as a stunt are being remembered, and the public isn't being informed about this two-faced hypocrisy.

that the hearings shouldn't be public. And, the reason he won't let Mulvaney testify is that it would give the proceedings "legitimacy."
