It's a generic term meaning vampire. His name in the film was Count Orlok.

Rusalka isn't a name either but generic term for a kind of humanoid female water creature much darker than a mermaid. though the stories have much in common.

(And, yes, Rudy does look enough like Orlok to have been separated at birth.)

I find it interesting, but then, I find a lot of folklore interesting.

Sometimes people worry that Grimm's Fairy Tales are too dark for children. They should look at eastern European folklore (Czech and points east) folktales if they want to see dark They'll show you dark!

is that rather than be shamed by this revelation, Miller will almost certainly reaffirm these views. Publicly. Proudly. It'll be interesting to see how his fiance will react, notwithstanding her spot in the Pence camp.
