I've been watching MSNBC for convention coverage. In the GP session and now, Steve Schmidt . . . .

1. Steve's experience with Palin might have taught him a few things...

He's still a GOPer, but a humbled one.

When he's not speaking, he always looks so forlorn. I guess that's his normal expression. Once he starts talking, he lights up.

6. He is old school Republican and still (comparatively) honest, if partisan.

He should have come over to our side, but at least, for a REPUG, he is being honorable in his assessments.

And he seems to be a persona non grata - exiled over to MSNBC instead of hanging with the partisans with whom he's probably a lot more comfortable.
