for a long time, and I never really heard Eleanor Roosevelt
give a speech, but I admire her like no other.

(81,220 posts)Our First Lady was a GREAT closer tonight! Must have hurt chuck todd (my husband calls him Fuck Turd) to have to gush about it. But that's all you can do after her speech. Once you catch your breath, that is.

What she said bears remembering . . . It is not about the person, it is about the ideas. And she did it under extreme circumstances also.

we've both heard the first lady speak, but this speech was something else...man oh man
she had us both in tears.
this speech was her best I've ever seen.
