Some were better than others. It wasn't until the Bush carpetbaggers took over that we had this run of Republican assholes. We had a few before that but sporadic and mostly ineffective. Anyway, Florida history is kind of weird. It has the oldest continually occupied city in North America (I think) in St. Augustine. However, due to many reasons, growth never took off until centuries later. Interesting place. Later arrivals such as yourself and me (50's) are the norm.
I just moved back after 12 years and I must say it does feel like home...

I had to give up listening to the CSPAN call-in show years ago. I just couldn’t take the idiotic GOP callers anymore. Chuck Todd was on CSPAN for years. He was a partisan hack then, just like now.
