I am paraphrasing, but when looked to his mother and said he was more proud of then she was of him. Then went onto say we all believe in the American, but we don't always cross the finish line, but we pass ourselves onto future generations. Which why his mother gave him the able to hold a microphone instead a mop. What that said to me was to me success is not determined by how much money you make, but instead how you reach others in your life. A direct smack upside the head for the teabaggers.

11. When the Democrats announced that they had selected

Julian Castro as the keynote speaker I thought "Who is this guy and why was he selected?" Now I know why. He is part of the future of the Democratic Party (along with his twin brother). A star has been born!
