‘Are You Better Off?’ Hashtag Backfires On GOP

But “are you better off” followed Priebus over to Twitter, where the promoted hashtag has taken hold as somewhat of a rallying cry for many Obama supporters. As tweets roll in to glom off the top trend’s traffic, Twitter users have responded in force.

Among those who believe that 2012 has brought improved fortunes over 2008 and that they are indeed better off, Twitterers said:

When you pay over 100k to promote a hashtag that backfires spectacularly, you’re doing it wrong. #AreYouBetterOff

4.5 Million Jobs Created, 30 Million Insured, Taxes at 60 Year Low, Iraq War Over, Gaddafi & Bin Laden Dead, GM Alive. #AreYouBetterOff #DNC

#AreYouBetterOff Yes. It’s like republicans have amnesia of how we got into this mess in the first place.

I noticed they had very few real people voting no. Most of it comes straight from Mitt in a mocking tone of course. And then there is a GOP one and an RNC one sayin somethin dunno what I don't read that crap. And then when the real people talk they say nice things about how the ACA is helping them and how they can serve without being worried about being discharged.

I lost almost everything in 2008, sucked it up, held on tight - and yes - it's almost back to full value!

I am always amazed that republicans always seem to be so technologically retarded. Like they are totally unaware of what or how social media works or that there is this 'thing' out there called the internet and on this internet that even 'common or poor people can use' that you can look up these things called 'facts' which seem to always prove that republicans are 'lying.'

They are so far back in time that they are still in amazement over the invention of the 'Lightbulb.' - It's the devil's work I tells U!
