Yes, the reviews are the same. I checked out a review I made for a documentary, "Night and Fog". The review is still there, but the main page has changed as has the way you navigate the site. Getting to any particular spot, is difficult for me. It is as if it has taken a whole new look and function. This was a reliable site for me to read reviews for new as well as older movies. The reviews are still there, but the place is not the same.
...Now it is about TV shows, entertainment more and more. I would be interested to hear and see what you have to say. I have been going there for years, and something has changed a whole lot. It is not a change for the good in my opinion...Thank You for reading this.

If you get to that movie through the present formation of IMBD, the review is still there. It is a powerful and incredible film about the Holocaust. But getting to that review is far more difficult than before. Something has happened to that site. I would Google Search that film and see what links you will find. 31 minutes.. No movie is more powerful than Night and Fog. And it is real.
.....Guess What ..Here is a link to the entire movie..YOU ARE WARNED....This is one of the most powerful movies ever made. It is horrific and real..Made in 1956 by a French Film maker.. You will never forget this ..Yes, 31 minutes..All real, bodies real, Yes, it is the Holocaust in 31 minutes. I showed this at least 30 times as a high school teacher. The students were warned, and they could go to the library if they didn't want to watch. But, they were sure they could take it. By the end many were screaming in horror. WARNING: this is very disturbing. But it is real. This is the Holocaust. If you watch this, and you have never seen it, you will not sleep tonight......
And this is the entire movie, French - English subtitles. Yes, this is real.
........Filmmaker Alain Resnais documents the atrocities behind the walls of Hitler's concentration camps......
Director: Alain Resnais, Narrator: Michel Boquet .WARNING this is as bad as any movie gets.
Captured Nazi films, along with films the Allies made after the concentration camps were liberated. Yes, this is the entire movie.

(22,645 posts)I usually search on whatever it is I am looking for and then go to the imdb link
My favorite thing is figuring out "where I saw that actor before"

(34,317 posts)me too! My husband always wonders how I know who all these people are. Years of, "Where have I seen them before" has kept me up on a whole lot of them.

(48,542 posts)But I agree that the page has changed even for this simple task. Instead of having the search window on top, I had to go to a small dark window where it has the magnifying glass

(17,881 posts)Stanton, as he's often listed in the credits. It's amazing how many bit parts he shows up in, often a bad guy lackey type. He plays each part with gusto.
I also keep seeing these amazing talented actresses, and I just have to run to IMDB and research 'em. Sometimes they re-surface elsewhere, or I can then check out other movies & shows they were in. Sometimes, they only appeared once.

(2,055 posts)I hate change. Seriously, I will give it a chance, I always do, but these days, its seems like they change stuff just to be changing it.

It looks to me as if they've made the site more friendly for mobile users, one-thumb television remote control users, and, of course, Alexa, but maybe less intuitive for keyboard users.
IMDB has been a subsidiary of Amazon since 1998.
This rekindles memories of some intense internet debates for me.
