(24,259 posts)can hold a candle to the 'Con owned fakiest news of all fake news propaganda machine, Fox.
IMO 'Fux Youz' and all who run it have deliberately mislead and sold TrumpliCon lies and propaganda to their naive/stupid viewers in order to gain power and harm democracy. Without FN running their scam Trump probably wouldn't have been elected even with the help of Putin (who's a second behind FN) and I'm dubious about McConnell and a few other 'con nuts as well.
If it were only between those two... McConnell would be my choice.

(21,740 posts)while trump is out ranting and tweeting and having rallies Mcturtle is filling the friggen courts with republican right wing judges for lifetime positions.
trump will be gone eventually and we are stuck with the kavanaughs and many more new right wing judges - thanks to mcturtle.

(50,170 posts)responsible for killing the courts and sitting on House legislation which might actually be killing people (Rx pricing, guns, etc.). We know we can get rid of the wannabe dictator in a year as long as we remain unified and turn out to vote.

(10,069 posts)He's using the Orange One as a smokescreen to distract from his iron-fisted rule of the Senate: packing the courts with unqualified judges (you don't think Trump knows that many, do you?) and preventing legislation passed by the House from even being considered. And has everyone forgotten his censures of Senators Warren and Harris when they tried to read a letter from Coretta Scott King at Sessions' confirmation hearings?
And I'm not even touching on his wife's activities as head of Transportation.

(63,221 posts)voted out of office and will go, whereas there are a lot more people (including foreign powers) who have a vested interest in keeping Trump in office and who are more likely to tamper in our next Presidential election.
Also, even if Trump "officially" loses, I still think we are going to have a hard time getting rid of him. There are too many people protecting him, backing him, lying for him and ready to kill for him, whereas the same thing is not true for McConnell.
And even if Trump does decide to go, there is no telling what he will do during his time as a lame duck President. He is extremely vindictive and spiteful and I have no doubt that he will punish as many people as he can on his way out.
I would have to say that Trump is worse. Our only hope is that Trump is in much worse health both mentally and physically and could be incapacitated or even dead before Nov 2020. It's a longshot, but it's within the realm of possibility.
