1. It's not like the US isn't a case study on the subject.

I swear, right-wing attempts at academic points or humor continually miss their mark and I blame their insular thinking. A relative posted something on Facebook, thinking she was making huge points and all it did was prove that she shared a limited perspective. It involved a quick essay written by a college student sitting in a coffee shop. Apparently a school assignment. And the student chose to write about how her age group is ignorant about how good they have it. She described her cozy cafe setting and the fact that there were no bombs falling outside etc. etc. to prove her point. She apparently identified herself as the norm. Which really leaves the open questions: Who is paying for her tuition and does she have any worries about maintaining herself after college, or will she be hanging out at mom and dad's house?

And, btw, the meme included a picture of AOC as a contrast. AOC who represents everyone else that the Republicans like to forget and would explain to any intelligent being why the student is suffering from a huge lack of experience about life.
