Trump's core is very small in my opinion. He has a lot of loose attachments that are being peeled away. Just need to keep poking them.

Trump had nearly 3 million less votes than Hillary and he will have at least another almost 5 million voters that will not vote for him because they will be dead. Or a net 1.6 million lost.

Trump will likely lose by at least 5 million votes and an electoral college will be difficult for him to win.

that horrendous restructuring of the tax code will certainly cause another mass exodus of his 2016 suckers--er, voters.

That leaves racists and ignorant trailer trash, several of whom are in the middle of the Venn diagram for those groups.

Oh, PLEASE, PLEASE be right!!!!

You read so much crazy stuff anymore - poles showing that all of the idiocy that has been publicly disclosed has not made any major impact on public opinion?

Really?

Who are the "polls" calling? Has anybody been paying attention?

It is SO easy to get so "excited" about the trends ...................... or SO depressed..................

Again - I SO hope you guys are on the "knowledge is power - and the truth shall set you free" side of it all!

is that the demographics they used are not the same as they were 2016. Another major factor regarding those polls is the use of a set percentage of people they identify as Democratic, Republican, and other. When they conduct polls they don't just make calls and then tabulate based on all calls. They make enough calls to fill those groups. And based on those groups and that includes groups within political affiliation such as women, men, and by age. So if the political affiliation size changes that makes a difference. And imo there are fewer conservatives because they are dying off or have become more open minded. The younger voters are not the same as those in the last 20-50 years. I may be wrong but when considering how it has changed dramatically in the last 50 years even in the last 10 years I have faith.

Still, everyone needs to do everything they can and be involved in the election.

Don't take it for granted that what they said in December will hold true next November. You don't have to be heavy-handed about it, but simply slip into any conversation some recent tidbit of Trump perfidy (Trump will surely continue to crank them out). Keep him from sliding back into the swamp.

The truth is a powerful weapon, which is why the Repukes hate it so much.

17. A few more things you can add about Nixon vs. Trump:
Mon Dec 2, 2019, 04:26 PM
Dec 2019

During Nixon's term:

He signed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, established the EPA, and...a Nixon Supreme Court appointee, Harry Blackmon, was the swing vote that decided Roe v. Wade.

I've shared those facts with a few neocons and the most one said to me was, "Yeah, but..." And then *crickets*. The others were dead silent.

have implemented that benefited everyone.
1) Eisenhower - Interstate Freeway
2) Nixon - EPA
3) Bush I - Americans With Disabilities Act
Everything else is pretty much just tax cuts, which isn't a program.

Although Nixon created the EPA, he was against it the whole way.
When the (D)'s informed him that the bill was veto proof, his advisors
told him to sign the legislation and then claim it.
