Kickback? Distant relative? Big donor? There's got to be a connection.

Company Trump Touted Won $400 Million Contract
December 2, 2019 at 9:21 pm EST By Taegan Goddard

“A company that President Trump urged military officials to hire for border wall construction has been awarded a $400 million contract to build a span of new barrier across an Arizona wildlife refuge,” the Washington Post reports.

“Trump has repeatedly pushed for Fisher to get a wall-building contract, urging officials with the Army Corps of Engineers to pick the firm — only to be told Fisher’s bids did not meet standards. Trump’s entreaties on behalf of the company have concerned some officials who are unaccustomed to the president getting personally involved in the intricacies of government contracting.”

shareholder. After all, the gop does not see any problems with anything he does. Violate the Emoluments Clause? The gop is just fine with that, even spending cash at his properties to encourage him. Bribery using taxpayer money? Fine with the gop, since it did not seem to work. They have already decided the results of the impeachment trial, he is innocent, without hearing any testimony. In fact some of them REFUSE to hear testimony. Proving that their oath of office is worthless. Putin's pals in the gop are traitors to this country, openly throwing this in our faces.

A right-wing group led by Stephen K. Bannon and prominent allies of President Trump has been bulldozing the banks of the Rio Grande to erect a privately funded border fence along the water’s edge despite lacking permits to build on the international flood plain in Texas.

We Build the Wall plans to install a 3½-mile “water wall” and paved road on private land immediately adjacent to the river, which serves as the U.S.-Mexico boundary. Construction activity along the river banks is tightly regulated under international treaties because structures can exacerbate flood damage and alter the course of the river channel.

The International Boundary and Water Commission, which issues permits to build in the Rio Grande channel, has asked the group to suspend construction, submit a detailed engineering study and withdraw its excavators and other heavy equipment from the river levees. Brian Kolfage, president of We Build the Wall, said his group is barreling forward anyway, newly emboldened by praise for its work from senior Department of Homeland Security officials.

“Who else loves the fresh smell of diesel in the morning when we’re building the wall?” Kolfage wrote on Twitter, posting videos of the banks of the Rio Grande scraped bare by graders and bulldozers. “Does it look like we were told stop? NOPE! Burning & Churning suckers.”

We Build The Wall

We Build the Wall is an organization raising donations to build private sections of the wall along the Mexico–U.S. border. It started as a GoFundMe campaign by United States Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage in December 2018.[1] However, Kolfage later announced the formation of a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization in January 2019.

Its advisory board includes politicians and activists with a hard-line stance on Illegal immigration, including Senate candidate Kris Kobach, ex-Congressman Tom Tancredo and Trump advisor Stephen K. Bannon, (chairman of the board).

The fence constructed on Allen's land reportedly cost $6-8 million of the donated funds. The section begins on the Rio Grande river and extends over 2,500 feet (760 m) to the lower elevations of Mount Cristo Rey in New Mexico. Construction was done by Tommy Fisher's Fisher Sand & Gravel, a company that President Trump has suggested should be contracted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, or the US government for federally funded border wall construction.
