... he was reporting on w Bush going AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard.

w Bush was stationed w/the Texas Air National Guard but transferred himself to the Alabama
Guard when he was scheduled to take a piss test the next day. Nobody at the Alabama Guard
outfit where w said he went to ever saw him there and Jr. officers do not get to transfer themselves
to new stations.

In 1999 & 2000 Alberto Gonzales & Karen Hughes went into the TANG files and removed information
about w's "stay" there.

This was the story that Dan Rather was trying to tell in 2004.
