(6,915 posts)Kennedy is my Senator, Scalise my Congressman. They dont get any slack on Twitter for being Putins useful idiots, they will soon find themselves under the bus with Rudy.

(17,984 posts)On Scalise. After months of the best health care in the world he came back bragging that God saved him, then a couple of months later he was posing, laughing in front of the White House laughing about taking health care away from millions.
Usually a near deat experience leaves you a better person. You can correct me if I am wrong.

(17,984 posts)Not to be compared to the great one!
Seriously did he campaign on that folksy, good ole boy shtick?
I should not talk, we have Mike DeWine as Governor, Gym Jordan and the rest of the State House gang. I would retire some where else, but my small City was declared the safest, I have everything I need in a small area, Hospital, good Doctors, all in one building, plenty of stores, Church across the street and many friends.
We also have Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman, a pretty decent Republican.

(32,634 posts)Not only has he managed this entire impeachment hearing process with the Committee members and witnesses, he has also kept tabs with the media and he's made daily updates on Twitter and press releases.
Well done Chairman Schiff. Thank you!

(8,039 posts)What an outstanding and amazing job Representative Schiff did. I'm in Southern California (my Representative is Ted Lieu - I KNOW!!!) and Adam Schiff represents the 28th District:
The district includes West Hollywood, Burbank, parts of Pasadena, Glendale, the Verdugo Hills communities of Sunland and Tujunga, as well as parts of central Los Angeles including Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Los Feliz. As it includes Glendale and Little Armenia, it has the largest Armenian-American population of any district in the country (Schiff cites the Armenian population at greater than 70,000).[5][6]
I've done some reading up on him and he is soooo very impressive! This man could be making millions and millions of dollars at a corporate job somewhere (even though my understanding is he's mainly been in the Prosecutorial arena for most of his career) and he has chosen to be a Public Servant instead.
We are very, very fortunate.
