After the impeachment and after the Senate trial...

There will be more impeachable offenses uncovered. There will be more witnesses to testify.

The impeachment of Donald J Trump will look more and more credible.

The Republicans will look more and more complicit. If they think they can hide Donald Trump for another year, they have seriously miscalculated.

They will regret the day they acquitted Donald Trump.

They are set up to make one of the biggest blunders in their political Party's history.

Republicans will reach a point in the next year where it will be impossible to defend Trump any further. Republicans, with just a little foresight, will be able to see this train coming thru the tunnel. They will be few in number, in my opinion.

THEY want to do as well. As far as their base goes, they'll be more encouraged.

Hold it. Wait for the next wave of information to be received, hearings heard, additional articles added. String it out.

Sure, they'll say we're playing politics. Let 'em. Merrick Garland, anyone?

They would have a legitimate excuse to drag it out. There will surely be more charges waiting in the wings.
