I am so ashamed and depressed to be an American reading this. How could anyone NOT? And that doesn't even include my shame at how we are treating immigrants and their children at the border.

Nor my horror at having Trump representing us.

Sigh....

Putin is a madman and the president of the US is doing his bidding - and I didn't even realize how much of this last bullshit with Ukraine was for him even though I heard her say this before.

I swear our Dem leaders better double down on calling out Russian talking points by the GOP now. They obviously work for Putin too even if they are too stupid to know it.

From the start, from changing the Repub platform re Ukraine, to delaying the enforcement of sanctions imposed, to redirecting funds for Baltic state support to the frickin wall, to the current administration's tepid response to any Russian action...I was glad she brought up the airliner that was shot down over Ukraine, Rachel (and Pelosi) are really pointing out the many connections to Putin's plot. There was a treaty I believe that when Ukraine gave up it's nuclear weapons to Russia, it was supposed to be guaranteed that it would not suffer invasion as a result. I have a friend that recently participated in Estonia for a massive singing event with thousands of singers. The fascinating history of this is called the Singing Revolution. The Baltic states have reason to fear the Russian actions. Putin really wants to put the old Soviet Union back together, and Trump is doing his best to help. Sorry for the stream of consciousness post...

It would be great if we could be the "good guys" for a while. That requires holding scofflaws accountable, especially if they're the ones making laws.
