America, in its current form cannot continue.

We have become the worst of the worst!
Our word means shit and we are a laughingstock!
Torture and children in cages. This is not MY America! Let it die!
Even Jefferson foresaw this day, when the government no longer serves the needs of the people, it is time to replace that government and start anew. (paraphrase)

Are we there yet?

Hoping for an election does not fix the dysfunctional system we have. The problem is systemic!

I ask that because from 1968 through 1973 there were plenty of people that thought very similar things, yet we survived.

It's never as good as we think, and it's never as bad as it seems.

It isn't up to me to tell you what to post.

I get that you are concerned about the present state of this country. Hell, I looked into emigrating to New Zealand after Trumpy got elected, I shit you not.

But alas, I'm too old for the skillset I have to offer. If I was a Brain Surgeon or a structural engineer at my age, it wouldn't be a problem. But they don't need any 60 year old truck drivers.
