Those are the words of John Sipher, the CIAs former deputy chief of Russia operations, telling the Washington Post that Russia probably knows more about Rudy Giulanis calls regarding Ukraine than impeachment investigators do.
The Post reported Thursday that phone logs between Giuliani and the White House switchboard suggest high-level communications on personal cellphones that were almost certainly under foreign surveillance.
Sipher told the Post that Russian intelligence likely monitors Giulianis calls and that through the continued use of unsecured phones, Guiliani and President Donald Trump have effectively given the Russians ammunition they can use in an overt fashion, a covert fashion or in the twisting of information.
An unnamed former senior aide agreed that the Russians have likely been eavesdropping on calls between Trump and Giuliani. Its a bonanza for them, he told the Post.
And its not just calls with the president the Post said that Giulianis phone conversations with people such as Lev Parnas could be just as valuable to foreign spies, especially if he was recounting conversations he had with Trump.

The obvious conclusion is they WANT RUSSIA TO HEAR THEM.

(851 posts)Yes, they are that stupid. Given all the hullaballoo over Hillary's "unsecured" server, you'd think someone on the pubbie side would have realized this and voiced some concern by this time. Doesn't seem to have been the case in any way, shape or form from that side, though we still hear shrieks from that side about Hillary's e-mails way to often.
For many people over 60 (and I'm mid-60s myself, but worked IT for years) current technology is completely beyond their grasp. With idjits like Trump & Guiliani, along with many in Congress, particularly the amongst anti-science crowd that I don't think I need to specify, they have no clue whatsoever.
