"I will not stand behind President Obama"

"I will not stand behind President Obama….. No, I will stand in front of him, taking on those who wish to see him fail. I will stand tall and be proud of my President, and what he has accomplished in such a short time. Brave men do not stand behind what they believe in, they stand in front of it, and defend it with everything they’ve got. NO! I will not stand behind my President. I will stand in front of him!"
USAF (Ret) SSgt Christopher Mora, Obama 2012! I’m all in!

64 YO US Navy, SERE graduate, SERE instructor
Been a few years and I'm not in as good of shape as I once was but the most important part is the training and I've still got that so I'll stand with you. I love our President and feel he is the best one we've had in my 64 years. I know a lot of people will throw JFK out there for comparisons but this President has walked in my poor ass shoes so from that he knows my/our plight. I say this for those of us who were raised in a more humble environment with not much money but lots of learning the true values of what is right and what is wrong.
I'd take a hit for this President any day as I've lived most of my life as it is and he is doing a hell of a lot more than I could ever do in securing the future for my kids and grand kid.
This President is like a dream come true for me as I've wished for a down to earth good ole boy/girl President since I came home from my war. I've voted for him twice and will be voting for him once more come Nov. 6.

Thank you Cags for sharing this message with us.

This is GREAT!

And, you know something else? I am not only posting stuff like this on my Facebook page, I am fucking DELETING the posts I don't like from naysayers who, somehow, I'm friends with. And if they keep posting, I'm un-friending them. TIRED of these assholes. Will make NO room for them and their toxic shit on my page.

President Obama respects us; Romney has nothing but contempt for people who aren't driven to make a lot of money.

(Aside, pretty scary how skinny we use to be.)

the armed forces has been shit upon by the GOP, wanting them to fight for their corporate needs, forcing our guys and galls making grunt money to fight along side mercenaries who get paid the really big bucks, treating them like crap when they get back home.

I never understood why so many in the Armed Forces sided with the GOP.

I have to mention this, when I first saw this post, the first thought that came to mind was did he eat chili today....

We will form and old guy blockade to protect our President. I did not learn any sere type skills in Uncle Sams canoe club but I could wave some flags or swab (mop) a clean path for us and I make a large human shield.

checking in. I'm all in. This is a critical mission.

As former Ambassador to the Crown Joseph P. Kennedy wrote to President Roosevelt when we declared war on Germany and Japan, "Mr. President, name the battlefront. I am yours to command."

Don't you just love being a part of history?

If you come across any Republican spouting the lies that Obama has failed to unite, you show them these things. You ask them how the American Taliban of GOP Lawmakers thought it would be better to block the business of the American people because they didn't like the President. Bookmark this thread and remember it. Then use it to remind people why this election is just as important as 2008.

Looks like his day is coming up again, Sept. 22nd Is Billy Sipple Day: Honoring Gay Ex-Marine Who Saved Gerald Ford's Life.

(If you have the time, I think it's worth knowing about his life. And how his life was drasticly changed by the press reports. I knew someone that ran around with Billy when he lived on the East Coast.

And for whatever reason, the Billy story reminds me of Ira Hayes.

There are lessons to be learned here about something.)

Ask yourself if you will be better off after 4 years if the Republicans win the White House.
Will you be better off when your Social Security is cut and Medicare goes on a vouture system. Do you understand what the voucher system is? You will receive a voucher for $8, 000. Any medical bills over the $8,000 will be paid out of YOUR pocket.
When they cut back on teachers and education, firemen, policemen, college loans, vets benefits, medicaid, unions and collective bargaining, planned parenthood, and write new child labor laws, will you be better off? Gingerich suggested that POOR 6 year old children should get a job as a janitor.Santorum says President Obama is a snob because he wants all children to have a chance to go to college.
They refused to pass the Obama bill for new jobs. In all my years, I have never seen the Republican party so heartless and cruel. They are telling you right out what they will do. Do you think they won't do all these things? Will you be better off after 4 years of Romney ? WILL YOU BE SATISFIED WHEN THEY RAISE THE TAXES ON THE MIDDLE CLASS BUT REFUSE TO RAISE THEM ON THE RICH?
Most of these things are in the Ryan budget. Believe it when they say what they will do.
VOTE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA and save the country.
