From my daughter the fact-checker

You know those fact-checkers the GOP keeps dissing? My daughter is one, newly hired straight out of college by a major progressive outlet (reluctant to say which only because I try to keep her as anonymous as possible in my on-line discussions). Anyway, she's been working late nights covering the conventions; during the RNC she routinely didn't get home until just before dawn. But last night tweeted this out:

Leaving work at 2am feels odd. It's like the DNC doesn't require as much fact-checking or something. Weird.

A real, live fact-checker!!!! I thought they were extinct ... like passenger pigeons.

Not surprised that a fact checker would be working for a progressive outlet ... "Fact" and an outlet like Fox News just can't exist together.
