"The phone call was perfect".

No, it wasn't.

But it is important to point out that the "perfect" phone call is not the only evidence against Mr Trump. There has been a pattern of corruption and disrespect for the law for three years.

There have been lies stacked on lies, told to the American people. "Sure, I will release my tax returns as soon as they are out of audit", he said. Now, he is fighting it all the way to the Supreme Court to keep the people from knowing what is in his tax returns.

The dealings with the Russians, with the help of Paul Manafort and his Ukrainian connections, are happening even as we speak. Rudy Giuliani and his corrupt gang are attempting to replicate the 2016 election, with foreign help. It is beyond the level of toleration.

The Congress, an equal Branch of government, has been denied witnesses and documents from the White House, in an effort to cover up their misdeeds, or at the very least, to obstruct a legal impeachment investigation by the House of Representatives. This has happened over and over again.

It is about much more than a "perfect phone call", however much Mr Trump likes to talk about it.

My hope is that tRUMP will resign under pressure like Nixon did but then Nixon and the reTHUGS of
his time were a LOT smarter than the current bunch.

He believes he can lie and manipulate the facts in such a way as to escape judicial scrutiny.

3. What the hell, time will tell. I'm overjoyed that we've already come so far with impeachment.

if republicans went to him and said sorry dude, it's either resign now or get removed by the senate in a matter of days, donnie would quickly resign, while declaring victory, claiming he accomplished everything he set out to do even before his term was up.

unfortunately for the republic, it seems highly unlikely that enough republicans will put america first, so donnie's not likely to have to face that choice.

5. "Perfect" phone call means nothing. Perfect by what criteria? Perfect by whose criteria?

Describing a phone call as perfect is silly, to put it mildly.

However, from Trump's point of view I suspect perfect phone call means he got his point across without specifically saying "do what I want or you are not getting what you need." According to Cohen and Comey, Trump always communicates in that mobster like manner.
