I'm not a fan of female beauty pageants or the male body building competitions. At their cores, they are all pretty fucked up morally and ethically. I purposely find better things to do during these events(like a root canal), BUT...

Such stereotypes are holdovers from days in which "owners" of enslaved persons raped any and all women and girls whenever they wanted. To avoid feeling guilty about "having sex" with a woman who was screaming and crying they blamed the women for "making them do it."

Like you, I am not a fan of beauty pageants. I'll be excited when: All nine members of the Supreme Court are African American women. Or, when the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and Leader of the Senate are all African American women.

If right-wing heads are on fire that's all good.
