Rick Steves' "The Rise of Fascism in Europe," on PBS tonight

Lots of old black and white and pre-war Agfachrome footage. You can probably view it on demand, if you have one of those fancy TV sets.

I'll provide some links when I have the connection.

I can't help but feel that they were leaving someone out....

I vaguely remember it, but don't remember if I recorded it. It seemed a bit incongruous for such a gruesome subject delivered by such a genial and good-natured man, but I recall it was serious and informative.

I'll have to root around in my recorded shows to see if I can find it. I would like to see it again.

There don't appear to be any new showings in this area, but there is a video link for KQED.

His guide books, his tours and his travel philosophy. His shows are always well worth a watch.
