GOP senators looking to get Trump off quick

“Senate Republicans say there is an early consensus building within their ranks for a short impeachment trial that could see the GOP-led chamber vote on a likely acquittal of President Trump without hearing from any witnesses,” Bloomberg reports.

“Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said a growing number of the Senate’s 53 GOP members want to simply let House Democrats make their case to impeach the president and then hear a rebuttal from Trump’s team before moving immediately to a vote on the articles of impeachment.

This is the largest crime in America's history and Trump is the largest crook in America's
history too. Make "them" stand up and beside that piece of crap.

but I don't recall all the details. It was something really damaging and it appears that it is not all either. Perhaps that's really a minor detail in view of the big, horrid picture before us.

knows what's up in Nancy P's mind? She knows that this is possible too. I suspect that she's got other things in mind.

can be brought by the states. At least that's what I understand. And we've got to take steps to bring down Bill "Low" Barr. We've got to be in this for the long haul.

And an acquittal is almost certain, I'd prefer it to go quickly in the Senate, too. Once the House vote to impeach, that sponge will have been wrung dry.

Shut it down quickly so Dumpy can start crowing about an open-and-shut case that easily cleared him in the Democrat witch hunt.

I don't know for sure if Nancy can hold it indefinitely in the House but...as long as she does he can't make those phony claims. The Sword of Damocles option could drive him crazy.
