My hat is off to our hard core watchers. Thank you.

I work all day but check in at lunch on what's been going on during the hearings. Then I try to catch up as much as I can during the evenings but the hearings are often still in progress. Tonight for sure. Then I try to watch and it's...well it's difficult.

I have no idea where you get the stamina to watch all of this and report back. The small amounts I am able to watch make me want to break the TV. I turn it off and go away for a while, only to come back and be made crazy all over again. I don't know how you do it. I do know that I will never run for office as I could not do this the way they (and you) do.

I have come to appreciate how truly loathsome some of the members of Congress really are. Holy crap. Another proof this would be a bad job for me as I would walk across the room, grab their little nameplates and proceed to beat them about the head and shoulders with it. And I am a non-violent person. I just don't have patience for fools or assholes and I have been seeing plenty of them.

But, for those of you that watch it from start to finish and who post videos of key moments for the rest of us, you have all my respect. Thank you for helping me - and any others who don't have the time freedom and/or the stomach to watch all day long.
