House Rules Committee Announces "Historic" Meeting for Tuesday
I'll post a reminder on Tuesday. This should be good. They will probably decide the parameters of debate and possibly entertain amendments (that won't pass) from the Republicans. We hold the gavel now.

Rules Committee Announces Meeting to Consider Resolution Impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for High Crimes and Misdemeanors
WASHINGTON, DC Rules Committee Chairman James P. McGovern (D-MA) today announced that the Rules Committee will mark up H. Res. 755, impeaching Donald John Trump, President of the United States, for high crimes and misdemeanors, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 11:00 AM ET in H-313, The Capitol. Chairman McGovern released the following statement:
President Trump withheld congressionally approved aid to an ally under siege to extract a personal political favor. His actions leave Congress no choice but to proceed with consideration of these articles of impeachment. Inaction would set a dangerous precedent, not just for this president, but for every future president. Today, the Judiciary Committee advanced two articles of impeachment. The Rules Committee will now put in place a process to consider them on the House Floor.
