sucks. The jobs he boasts are for the most part low end, low pay work your ass off jobs for nothing ... and many people need a couple of jobs trying to get by. It's totally a bullshit obsolete economy. He's a snake oil salesman and so many are stupid enough to fall for his crap.

The majority of those jobs fall into two categories: people who prepare and deliver food tp people’s homes, and people who work in the retail sector at pulling orders for customers who purchased things online for “express pickup” or who deliver those things to people’s homes.

Let’s call what is happening in America right now - people working at home, having merchandise and food brought to them, and communicating with friends largely, or exclusively, by social media - “bunkering.” People are bunkering because they don’t want to get shot.

The economy does not benefit the middle class nor poor but hinder them. More lies from this fucked up administration, i.e. Republican party who lied about the Bush economy until they could not lie about it anymore - meaning in your face recession, i.e. lost of jobs therefore lost homes, rent re: apartment, cars, bills, grocery, etc.

The Republican party are doing it again, but this could be even worse.

those jobs. That they are low paying jobs and many people are having to hold down 2 and 3 of those jobs to make ends meet. What kind of quality of life is that if you have to work 2 or 3 jobs and drive for uber or lift at the same time ? When do you have time for your family? These are the stories the media needs to concentrate on

Hope something breaks your way soon.

It really is rough out there. I see way more middle aged and older folks as cashiers and baggers at the grocery stores these days than I used to. I remember when it was mostly younger folks that had those jobs. It wasn't like that several years ago so that says a lot about the Trump economy.

The bad parts are Trump/Republican.

High employment and stick market are a trend from Obama and Biden.

Trade war and extremely high deficit during prosperous times is Trump/Republican.

feels like Trump is the biggest bubble yet, bigger than the internet bubble, or the housing bubble, or the stock market bubble.

It feels like Trump could be deflated at any time. Not sure how it would happen, but he is building the biggest deceit-filled reality bubble ever, and when it does pop, watch out.

We walked Into Walmart yesterday and only a few cashiers and remodeled to have a huge self check now and no greeter in front just a guy on way out making sure you didn’t steal anything.
We waited for cashier.

Costco employees seem real happy as usual.

But I found myself wondering with stores closing and more self checks where are the jobs?

I shop mostly at costco and Trader Joes and both have no self checks and believe in service.

I haven’t gone to fast food in almost 20 years since it stopped being real food. Are those the jobs?

Where I live its a city in OR where a lot retire to so lots of medical and service jobs like handyman, lawn, carpenter, etc.

It was a column written by a man that is a financial advisor, etc.

He was telling everyone "reading this" that you need to be prepared to take a 20% cut in SSA benefits in 2034 and that it could be avoided if they raised the payroll taxes up.

What they must do is cancel the tax breaks for the rich!!

Just the news I didn't care to read!

Merry Christmas everyone!

This information comes from a source that is apolitical.

It angers me as the people that it will have an effect on is EVERYONE out there -- those receiving SS benefits today and those coming up in the future.

We The People have paid into this game for years and years only to read prepare for this now while you can. Yeah right!
