Do you think another "impeachable offense" will happen between now and Election Day?

Will there be another huge bombshell that shows the criminality and cover-up of Donald Trump?

After the Senate acquits him, how long before another scandal hits the news?

If nothing else, Donald Trump is a criminal. It is in his DNA. He cannot stop. He would not stop, even if he could.

So, it's just a matter of time until we are talking about impeachment again. Some people will pretend they never had any idea their president would do such a thing. Some may even feign regret for voting to acquit. Especially if it is just before the election.

Say I rob a bank, am caught, tried, and acquitted. The next week when I rob another bank I can't use the excuse "but I've already been acquitted of bank robbery" at my new trial (unless Giuliani's my lawyer ). So even if the Senate acquits the Orange One of pressuring Ukraine, the House can still impeach him again for pressuring, say, Venezuela or where ever (I'd be surprised if heasn't pulled the "Nice country you got here, shame if anything would happen to it" line with other world leaders).

But I think there are a lot more shady things he's done or is currently doing. And I really want to see Ivanka in front of a Congressional committee explaining just what it is she does to justify her position (we all can dream, can't we?)

some journalist research and write down every single thing that the Repubs have shoved thru, hiding behind the distraction of Trump. It has to be in the thousands by now. The Repubs have very successfully used Trump as an hourly and daily distraction to divert attention (esp the media's attention) away from all the corrupt atrocities they are committing out of sight.............

The ultimate outcome of this will be to embolden the lawlessness and encourage the hiding. Screw the press, the subpoenas, the whistle blowers, the independent judiciary, the justice department, etc.

We will get screwed 10 ways to Sunday and will never even find out how.

If he is not removed, he will realize that he really CAN shoot somebody on 5th Ave. and the Senate Republicans will not even protest.

Between unhinged tweetstorms, he will go on an insane Executive Order spree that will be stunning, even to his allies. Scandal on a Biblical Scale.

Prepare yourself for more insanity every day than we would normally experience in a decade.

That sums up Trump and it has been the case his entire adult life. If there is a right way or a wrong way of doing things, he will pick the wrong way, even if it doesn't benefit him. He is drawn to anything illegal or corrupt or dishonest. He will lie even if the truth would serve him better and if he gets caught, he doubles down.

Principles and honesty are for losers and Donald Trump will not be a loser.

of actual prosecutable crime - not true. General unfitness for office qualifies and is manifested by constant wreckless, inflammatory, taunting statements directed against everyone and anyone incl foreign heads of state, subtle and overt urging of violence against political foes, in general sowing discord and hatreds Other high crimes and misdemeanors that have occurred and will contine to occur: profiting from presidency (forget exact amt its in tens of millions of taxpayer dollars the Cult Leader is spending to vacation at his own properties) and violating campaign finance laws to pay off a porn star. That qualifies, not sure why it wasn't used for #3 article of impeachment. Perhaps Dems are too nice and considered it too unsavory.

What is the crime?
Bribery. Political dirt on Biden for congressionally approved aid for starters. That is a crime.
Withholding the money illegally.
Perjury. Living through their collective teeth about Trumps intentions.
Of course, the legal team can enumerate more succinctly but the point is to not let their talking points go unanswered. Not even ONE of them.
