About those polls predicting the 2020 presidential race

In 2016, all the polls told us Hilary would win up until about 9:30 on election night. After that horrible moment, why would anyone ever believe another poll?

Trump cannot win the 2020 election. But he, his cronies and Russia can/will do anything and everything to steal it.

If they capture it this time around, American democracy, as well as our freedoms, are gone for our lifetimes.

Yet, here we are, a bit less than a year away from that election, living in terror, believing that that this could possibly come to be.

This is incredible, inconceivable, and downright insane. The majority of us are living in fear that the crazy orange creature will win another four years. And we are watching a major American political party, the Republicans, pushing hard for a land in which a handful of malignant autocrats will rule us all.

Yet, this is their goal and screw all the rules, regulations and laws.

And here are the rest of us, obeying all the rules, regulations and laws.

We're in a fixed "game" where we can actually see the dealer dealing from the bottom of the deck. Yet, we're continuing to play along without folding.

Dear American Democrats: Out Constitution is being rendered meaningless; Our very freedoms are on the verge of being stolen from us; And we are about to become helpless subjects in a cruel, totalitarian world. Yet, here we are, biding our time until the next fixed election.

I know the question everyone will ask. "What can we could/should do about it?"

If anyone has an answer, please share it with us. Because I, like most of us, don't have a clue as to how we stop the possible upcoming insanity.

But if this likely scenario comes to be, our only option will be the resistance that the French underground put up against the Germans. They turned out to be a mere nuisance, but they couldn't possibly win.

Is that where we're headed? Is that our future? And are we going to do anything to prevent it from coming to that?

I'd really like to hear some suggestions of how we can prevent the fascism that is hovering over our near future.

And all I can add is, please be diplomatic with any replies. Or, to put it bluntly, please don't respond with a post that will get you investigated or arrested.

If we overwhelm the republicans with our numbers, we will win. Everything will work out, but only if we get out the vote.

6. That FOX "News" poll that shows over half of all voter saying Trump should be

impeached might not be good for him. Being a FOX poll, you'd think they tried to skew it and failed. Kind of surprising they would report it. But I suppose if they run the poll and don't give the results, someone would rat on them and that would stink.

If that many actual voters are saying that, they can't be planning on voting for him anyway.

and still get elected. So we have to be very smart about which States we absolutely must win.

... candidates like Stein and Johnson who really won it for Red Don.

Red Don did not and still does not have enough voters to win a presidential election, Trump got less votes than rMoney.

10. 3rd Party candidates didn't over-perform, they actually under-performed what they were polling

In 2016 the Greens got 1.07% of the vote, and the Libertarians got 3.27%. While that's high, they were polling higher right up to the last day of polling, and way higher in the Summer and early Fall.

Nationally yes, 3rd parties didn't do as well but in those 5 states they over performed.

One of the items that makes 2016 such an anomoly of an election; a lot of weird shit happened.
