The State of Things.

Watching France 24 or news from elsewhere you realize how seriously fucked up the world is right now. And it's been this way for a long time.

Because the United States won WWII it put itself in the position of being the Leader of the World. And that's a complex job. The Europeans can't really do it because they can't just pick somebody because of their history of tribalism so they look to the U.S.

Now we have this idiot for a President and a corrupt Senate. So nobody is in charge. For now. Obama was seriously handicapped by the republicans. The Leadership of the free world, as restrained as it is, has defaulted to the Democrats in the House of Representatives.

So when you see Gohmert, Collins, Jordan and Gaetz put on their pathetic show, it's really something that completely misses them.

It would really be nice if the Republicans in Senate would do their job or at least get out of the way.

There are real problems to solve and we are wasting time keeping this fucking sicko in office.

Looking more like a totalitarian party every day--reminiscent of the behavior of the Soviets they used to hate for their lack of freedom.

If only it was all just a big waste of the world's time. Lots of things going neglected that need the attention of competent moral leadership. COP25 was apparently disappointing partly because the U.S. and Brazil objected to a lot of things: Dumpy the Clown and Bolsonazi standing in the way.
