Stumbled onto it today at a CVS. The guy at the counter said it tastes horrible but works. He was right on both. Been suffering a cold with clogged head and running sneezy nose for about a week. GONE within a few minutes.

I see it may also be at Walmart Walgreens etc.

7. Christmas: A Biography, by Judith Flanders

This non-fiction book is very informative, interesting, and good read.

Winter is the reason for the season.

Sure, you can add religion to it if you want to. In our family of atheists, we do not. BUT I finally got the family to celebrate Christmas again by pointing out the facts laid out in this book. Since we don't go to church, and none of our traditions (feasts, gifts, decorated tree, etc.) involve religion, there is no reason to continue to celebrate. I don't much care what other atheist family members call it... as long as we get to enjoy the holidays.

Secular "Christmases" have been celebrated for a very long time.

Judith Flanders' book discusses the history of just about everything to do with Christmas. I recommend it.

I know we have the first amendment and I know why it is super important to protect even abhorrent speech, but DAMN I cannot deal with the idea that propaganda is allowed to be sold as news and so many damn people are brainwashed by this crap.
