I do not support our current two party system and disapprove of the leadership of both political parties, and how little they are doing to solve the problems that the average American is facing. However because of the nature of our political system I am running as a Democrat as they are the party that my policies most closely align with.

and he identifies as a "democratic socialist"
I may be introverted, pessimistic and cynical, but what distinguishes me as a democratic socialist is how passionately I believe in the need for both society and the state to serve the needs of all people equally, and not just a privileged few, and it is this honesty and willingness to work for the good of all people that I promise to take with me to Congress.

And that guy isn't a person, he is a parasite.

Assuming its a closed primary there.

Tommy_Carcetti
(43,166 posts)9. That sucks
Hell still lose handily but some Republicans might have a little fun with the votes.
I dont understand the purpose of open primaries. It just seems like an invitation to get the opposing party to nominate the least qualified person for the general.

In other words if they vote for a Democratic candidate and there is a runoff let's say between 2 repubs, the operation chaos mobsters cannot vote in that election if they voted for a Dem, they will have to vote in the Democratic primary if there is a runoff.

one emotion. If he expands it to policy, that could change everything.

(1,733 posts)8. Trump has been *so* much better than Obama
on healthcare, immigration, Iraq, Afghanistan and climate change. And demonstrating privilege? Giving zero fucks? Nobody does it better than Donald Trump!

(58,785 posts)10. Just another of the duds intrinsic to the democratic process.
Fortunately he's too stupid to disguise himself in a better wrapping, and with luck he'll get tired of losing the first time.

laugh at how badly this guy loses in the primary.
