I feel proud that the Constitution and the Rule of Law has been defended and upheld by Democrats. Our Congressional leaders, in stark contrast to the lies and rabid rantings of the Republicans, have done us all proud --- intelligent, organized, goal-oriented and fearless. Regardless of what happens in the Senate, or what other battles and fierce blowback may lie ahead, I am proud tonight to be a Democrat. I'm 70 and looking back tonight thinking with emotion of my parents (Dad was a WWII vet) and my wonderful and beloved high school 'American Government' teacher and how the values they taught and instilled in me about citizenship and our Constitution have been defended and exercised this night in Congress. Whatever happens from this point on, History will look back and note that we did the right thing.

(8,790 posts)is this group has already proven countless times that they can re-write history and convince their crowd that the real history never happened....It is truly believable, from what we have been seeing, that it is as if they are all seriously
brain washed. Most of us wouldn't believe it if we weren't watching it happen first hand.....
People, WASF..........
I can't help but think that if it doesn't all go to hell before the election, that on Nov 3rd and Nov 4th, it is gonna get really ugly around the entire nation, not only just in Washington D.C.

That's all they can do.
