Ok, BIG UPDATE on my daughter and the S Africa trip

Here's some background
https://www.democraticunderground.com/100212786739

The LTCC Foundation and Boys and Girl's Club Lake Tahoe are going to pay for the trip in FULL😮🤯🥺

We are grateful and amazed.... Especially since I am currently on disability and unemployed...

It's a Christmas miracle

We will still have to figure out passport and plane ticket....but this is HUGE🥰

I almost never encourage this but I might actually be a contributor to a go fund me-we're talking maybe $200 but I'm betting you need help.

The whole "real ID" thing....

There's going to be lots of little/big things like that. At least all Visas and other costs are included.

They will explain the documents that will be needed. It takes a while to get a passport and there are fees (paying for a passport photo and the passport processing fee). Not all PO branches do passports, but just go to the most convenient one and ask, they will direct you to one that does.

I printed out an application a while ago, before this even came up. Wonder if it is out of date...
