(14,961 posts)believe in God. And then you have the ones that are in it for power, the ones the Family/National Prayer breakfast types, non of these people seem to care about God in a traditional sense, except when they are being hypocritical.

Oh, I think the time for Xians to reverse course on their embrace of radical RW politics was about 40 years ago. The only people who take their moral pronouncements seriously are their fellow Kool Ade drinkers. The rest of the world just shakes their heads or laughs at them.

I don't know too much about the history of Christianity Today, and didn't know they were founded by Billy Graham. I have read a few of their articles online through out the years and they didn't strike me as crazy.
